I am an Ayurvedic-informed postpartum doula in the Bay Area. My practice incorporates traditional Indian postpartum rituals and Ayurvedic nutrition alongside modern lactation support. I help families create a sacred postpartum window that honors rest, nourishment, and bonding, drawing from the jaappa tradition of 40 days of supported recovery.
Why I Do This Work
In India, postpartum care is a community effort rooted in ancient wisdom. I want to give families access to that tradition even when they are far from home.
